On Saturday, September 27, 2025, one of our properties – where we are responsible for reception and security – hosted a barbecue with pleasant temperatures, laughter, and lively conversations. Site Manager Matthias Kothe took charge of organizing the event and, with great dedication, ensured that nothing was missing. From juicy grilled food to a colorful selection of salads and refreshing drinks – everything was perfectly arranged for everyone’s enjoyment.

A special highlight was the participation of Managing Director Matthias Herteux, who didn’t miss the opportunity to drop by in person and engage in conversation with colleagues. Informal gatherings like this provide a valuable opportunity to get to know each other beyond daily work and to have private conversations – without time pressure and in a relaxed atmosphere. Events like this team-building occasions are not only wonderful opportunities to spend time together, but also have a lasting positive effect on day-to-day work. When colleagues know each other better and build trust, collaboration often runs more smoothly. Communication becomes more open, and mutual understanding grows.

The afternoon was filled with good spirits, engaging conversations, and a tangible sense of community. Even though not all team members could attend – some were, of course, still on duty – the atmosphere was consistently positive and warm. Many took the opportunity to talk with colleagues they don’t usually get to speak with due to different shift schedules. The event once again highlighted how important such occasions are for team cohesion.

A big thank-you goes out to everyone who contributed to the success of the event – especially to Matthias Kothe for the excellent organization. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to spend time together and further strengthen the team spirit at Safety Line.
