With regular fire safety training, we at Safety Line Security & Service GmbH ensure that all our employees are capable of responding correctly in an emergency. Last Saturday, another one of these trainings took place.

Every employee must participate in one of these trainings every three to five years to refresh their knowledge for emergency situations. Changing conditions in a managed property or new legal requirements also necessitate refreshing these sessions. These mandatory events are continuously conducted within our company, ensuring that regardless of the time of employment, all staff are prepared for emergencies.

Using practical examples, course instructor Harald Hinkelbein explained to all participants the correct handling of a standard fire extinguisher.

Course instructor Harald Hinkelbein welcomed the group in perfect weather at our company site in Wiesbaden-Delkenheim, explaining and demonstrating the challenges of firefighting and fire prevention. Topics included the origin and development of hazardous situations and the practical use of firefighting equipment. Under the strict supervision of the instructor, participants were able to extinguish small, controlled fires to practice correct handling of a fire extinguisher. And although everyone hopes never to encounter a real emergency, by the end of the day, all participants feel confident in acting effectively in a real emergency.

Why are regular fire safety trainings so important for our employees?

Regular mandatory fire safety training
is important in every company, as it equips employees with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to respond quickly, safely, and correctly in an emergency. Safety Line Security & Service GmbH serves clients from the most diverse industries in the field of security and service solutions . Our employees must therefore be trained for various scenarios to act correctly in an emergency. Since such emergencies are fortunately rare, these trainings need to be refreshed regularly to ensure that every action is performed correctly when needed.

What do participants learn in the fire safety training?

A fire safety training includes the basics of fire formation, correct handling of fire extinguishers, and behavior during an evacuation. Special conditions of a site or building may also be relevant. Participants learn about different types of extinguishing agents and their areas of use. Are technical fires possible? Are there special substances on site that require special handling? Are there architectural peculiarities to consider during evacuation? All these questions are regularly addressed.

Which topics are covered?

The goal is to identify dangers early, prevent damage, and ensure the safety of everyone in the workplace. Since fires threaten not only property but also human lives, regular fire safety training is a central part of the company safety concept and helps to establish safety, responsibility, and prevention in daily work life.
